Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information PicsFort (“we”, “us”) handles when you use picsfort.com and its short-link service.

Information we handle

  • Messages you send us. If you use the contact or report forms we receive your name, email, optional phone number and your message, and we store them so we can reply.
  • Short-link data. For each short link we store its short name, the address it points to, an optional label and expiry date, and the number of visits per day. We do not store visitor IP addresses with visit counts.
  • Security and abuse prevention. To limit spam and repeated login attempts we briefly keep a one-way hashed form of a network address. These records are short-lived (minutes to about a day).
  • Hosting logs. Our web host records standard server logs (such as IP address, browser and pages requested) for security and operation.

Cookies

The public pages of picsfort.com do not set cookies and do not use advertising or analytics trackers. The private administration area uses a session cookie that is needed to keep staff signed in.

Galleries and Google

PicsFort galleries run in the owner’s own Google account and show files from the owner’s Google Drive. When you follow a PicsFort link you are taken to a page served by Google, which is governed by Google’s own terms and privacy policy. We do not host, copy or have access to the photos and videos in those galleries through our link service.

How we use information

We use it to run the link service, reply to messages, review reports, keep the service secure and meet legal obligations. We do not sell personal information.

Sharing

We share information only with service providers that help us operate (for example web hosting and email), when required by law, or to protect the service and its users.

Retention

We keep messages for as long as needed to respond and for reasonable record-keeping, then delete them. Short-link records are kept while the link is active and for a reasonable period afterwards.

Your choices

You may ask us to access, correct or delete the personal information you sent us. Email hello@picsfort.com and we will respond within a reasonable time.

Children

Our website is not directed at children. Galleries are created by adults who are responsible for what they share.

Changes

We may update this policy and will change the date above when we do.
