Turn a Google Drive folder into a photo gallery
Google Drive is a great place to keep photos, but a shared folder is just a list of files. PicsFort turns that folder into a proper gallery — without moving anything out of your Drive.
What you get
- A clean photo grid with album covers
- A full-screen slideshow where every photo fits the screen, with a different transition each time
- Background music from MP3 files in the same folder
- Video playback inside the gallery
- A short link such as picsfort.com/your-name-k7x2q9 that is easy to share
How it works with Google Drive
You keep a PicsFort folder in your Drive. Every sub-folder inside it is an album. Add photos, videos and music to a folder and they appear in the gallery automatically, usually within about a minute.
You choose how each album is shared — public link, PIN, or a secret link — from a simple dashboard. Your gallery runs in your own Google account.
What stays the same
- Your files stay in your Google Drive and count against your own Google storage
- You can switch an album off at any time, and the Drive folder becomes private again
- You do not need to learn a new upload tool — use Drive on your phone or computer as usual
Good to know
Shared albums use a Drive folder that anyone with the link can view. A PIN protects the gallery page, not the individual file addresses. PicsFort is ideal for family memories and events — please do not use it for highly sensitive or confidential files.
